The short version. Jumper accounts are free. A drop zone or event that subscribes starts with a 14-day free trial. Paid plans renew automatically every month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Billing, and the plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. Payments aren't refundable except as described in Refunds. DILO is a manifest tool. It doesn't replace your drop zone's safety procedures or the pilot's judgment.
DILO is operated by DILOTIKO LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company ("DILOTIKO", "we", "us"). These terms apply to dilo.one, app.dilo.one, every drop zone address on dilo.one, and the DILO apps and services (together, "DILO"). By creating an account or using DILO, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
DILO has two kinds of users:
Skydiving involves inherent and significant risks, including serious injury and death. DILO helps drop zones organize loads, people and equipment. It is not a safety system and doesn't replace:
Load counts, weights, payload limits, currency information and similar figures in DILO are calculated from what users enter. They are for information only. The drop zone and the pilot remain responsible for every load. DILOTIKO is not responsible for injury, death, damage or loss arising from skydiving or related activities, including where DILO was used to organize them.
DZs can use DILO on a Free plan or on a paid plan (Starter, Pro or Enterprise), billed monthly or annually. Current plans and prices are on our pricing page. Prices are in US dollars and don't include taxes, which are added where required.
A new DZ starts with a 14-day free trial of the Starter plan, and nothing is charged during the trial. Add a payment method under Settings → Billing before the trial ends to stay on Starter. If no payment method is on file when the trial ends, the DZ moves to the Free plan automatically, and you aren't charged.
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or annually, until you cancel. At the start of each period we charge the price of your plan to the payment method on file. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
You can cancel any time under Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription, or in the billing portal under Manage Payment Method. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep your plan until then, there are no further charges, and the DZ then moves to the Free plan. Cancelling doesn't delete your data (see section 5).
Upgrades take effect immediately. You're charged a prorated amount for the rest of the current period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period, so you keep the plan you've paid for until then.
Payments are non-refundable. We don't give refunds or credits for partial periods, unused time, or downgrades, except where the law requires it. If you think you were charged by mistake, email support@dilo.one within 30 days of the charge and we'll look into it. If we made an error, we'll refund it. We may also issue other refunds at our discretion.
If a payment fails, we retry it and email the DZ owner. If it's still unpaid after about three weeks, the subscription ends and the DZ moves to the Free plan. We may suspend a DZ whose account is more than 30 days overdue until the balance is paid. Your data isn't deleted in either case.
We'll email the DZ owner at least 30 days before a price change applies to your subscription. The new price takes effect at your next renewal after that notice, and you can cancel before then if you don't want to continue.
If we've agreed different terms with a DZ in writing, such as a prepaid or complimentary arrangement, that agreement applies where it differs from this section.
Don't use DILO to:
We work hard to keep DILO available and accurate. However, we don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance and change, add or remove features. If we remove a significant feature of a paid plan, we'll give DZ owners reasonable notice.
To the extent the law allows, DILO is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the extent the law allows, DILOTIKO won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to DILO is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and (b) US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
If you use DILO as a drop zone customer, you'll defend and indemnify DILOTIKO against claims arising from your operations, your content, or your breach of these terms.
You can stop using DILO at any time. We may suspend or close an account or DZ that breaches these terms, doesn't pay, or puts DILO or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. Sections 3, 5 and 8 to 13 continue to apply after termination.
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date. If a change materially affects you, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. For DZ subscriptions, we'll give at least 30 days' notice. If you keep using DILO after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, and disputes go to the state and federal courts located in North Carolina. If you're a consumer, you keep any rights that the law of your country gives you and that can't be waived by agreement.
